Eighteen years after the horrific battle with Lord Voldemort and the deatheaters, everything seemed to go back to normal, before Voldemort started to harass people. Hogwarts has new a headmaster, potions mistress and many new teachers. As it turns out, Voldemort did die, but one member of his family lives. She is a teacher at Hogwarts, and she seems like she good. No one knows if she is or isn't. The headmaster seems to think that she is on our side.

New Plot!
Eighteen years, since the Dark Lords death. Most of the deatheaters, believed that he was. Except for one. This loyal deatheater, is no other, than Vivian Riddle, The Dark Lord's daughter. She is teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts, at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Why was she hired? No one knows except Heilorat Dumbledore and Vivian Riddle. No one has dared approached them to ask. Until one day. Artemis Malfoy, was given a book by, no other than Draco Malfoy. It looked like a potions book, but it wasn't. It is actually one of the seven Horcruxes. People thought that there was only six of them, until now. Only Vivian and Silvia know the secrets of the book. Will it be destroyed? Or will Lord Voldemort come back for good?

Okay, the basic premise of it is that Voldemort does not die easily. He has a hundred back up plans and basically, won't go without a fight. So, when Harry destroyed the Horcruxes(except your special one, of course), it wasn't his end. Not even if Harry had managed to destroy that one. Because Voldemort is determined, and if a soul is determined enough than even death can't conquer it. So, rather than dying like a good little lord of doom, Voldemort hung on to a scrap of Harry's life, clinging with all his might, until he found a new vessel onto which he could cling.
What were the chances that on the same night as Harry defeated Voldemort, he would conceive his first son? And what were the chances Voldemort would seize this opportunity to grab a shotgun seat in that son's head? Well, it all boils down to Chance, I suppose.
No one really thought it was strange that Chance didn't look a thing like Harry; too attractive, and they figured it was Ginny's genes taking over. No one ever mentioned that he didn't look like any of the Weasleys, either, and no one could remember what Tom Riddle looked like enough to notice the resemblence -the dark hair, handsome face, all similar but not exact, and the only ones still alive who knew what Tom Riddle had looked like were too blinded by love for their son to notice the uncanny resemblence. Almost as though Voldemort had a son, instead of Harry.
You see, a tiny scrap of Voldemort's mind and soul managed to hang on, and burrow himself deep into Chance's being, unbeknownst to anyone, even the boy himself. He kept himself hidden while he gained strength, slowly becoming more and more dominant, yet always keeping hidden, so neither Chance nor anyone else could become suspicious. Now, he's nearly ready to take Chance's mind and body for himself, and it's becoming more difficult to hide, hence Chance's nightmares and his growing sense of dread, although at what, he's not sure.
Soon enough, Voldemort will take control, and when that happens...well, we'll see.
